We work each day to get through life and as we are busy surviving, things are going on around us under cover and behind closed doors. Things happen that we would sacrifice our cozy lives for, if only we knew they were happening. But, we don't even know. We don't know because those doing these things know that they are so wrong that they need to cover them up.... they need to hide them.
So, people in the know, go out, they risk life and limb to film the atrocities to document for us comfortable folk, in an attempt to wake us up to reality and maybe, just maybe awaken the anger that needs to act now to stop this terrible thing that is uncovered.
So I write to the powers that be. I write the following:
Hello,
I am contacting you out of absolute outrage! I have read page after page of your website and am astounded that Japan has continued to have so much to do with so-called "whale research" over so many years. How can you all be so blind to Japan's actual intent and hidden agenda on this subject? I think you know exactly what they are up to and don't really care!
Japan cares nothing for researching whales, or dolphins other than exterminating them and you know it. Did you know that us supposed stupid people out here know what is actually going on at the International Whaling Commission? You are caving into Japan and money is probably at the root of it. Do any of you care about whales or dolphins? Do you only care about money?
You know that JARPA research Programmes are a cover for commercial whaling. How could you not know? How can I know and you not know? This is ridiculous and unacceptable and You need to respond to this question, because I do not plan to stop asking and I intend to get answers.
Many thousands have watched the documentary called, "The Cove" and we will not rest until you tell us WHY? We will not rest until you tell us How this is Okay? We will not rest until you STOP what Japan is doing to the Whales and Dolphins, let alone the fish stocks on OUR PLANET EARTH!!! This World does not belong to JAPAN or the International Whaling Commission!!! It belongs to all humans and creatures who inhabit it! The killing in the name of research or whatever you try to call it needs to end NOW!
I intend to post this on the World Wide Web, everywhere I can think of and I will include your responses or lack thereof for all the world to see! Killing of harmless beings on our planet for monetary gain has to stop now!

This is me beginning to do the only thing I can figure I can do to start something. Lets see from here where this goes. At least I am starting whatever it is I can, to try to stop this horrible thing.
Follow up: As of January 20, 2010, I have gotten zero response or reply to my email from the IWC.
